Bold Strokes provides individualized executive functioning coaching to help students build practical strategies for organization, planning, time management, task initiation, prioritization, working memory, and self-advocacy.

Coaching is tailored to each student's age, learning profile, and specific needs. Together, we identify barriers, develop manageable systems and routines, and practice strategies that students can apply independently at school and at home. The goal is not simply to help students get organized, but to build the confidence, skills, and independence they need to become more effective learners and advocates for themselves.

Orton-Gillingham Literacy Tutoring

Our individualized Orton-Gillingham tutoring is designed to help students with dyslexia and other reading challenges build strong, lasting literacy skills. Using a structured, multisensory, and evidence-based approach, we provide personalized instruction that strengthens phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, fluency, and reading comprehension. Every lesson is tailored to each learner's unique strengths and needs, helping students develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of reading.

Educational Advocacy & Family Support

Our advocacy services are personalized to each family's unique needs and may include IEP review and support, meeting preparation, educational record review, assistance with ESA+ applications, recommendations for evaluations and community resources, and ongoing consultation as your child's needs evolve.

Individualized Postsecondary Counseling

Choosing the right path after high school can feel overwhelming, especially for students with learning differences. Our personalized postsecondary counseling is designed to help students and families identify colleges, career training, and other postsecondary opportunities that align with each student's strengths, goals, and support needs.

Each counseling package includes individual meetings with both the student and parent(s), a comprehensive review of student and parent questionnaires, and customized research to identify programs that provide the best academic, social, and accessibility fit. Families receive a follow-up consultation with personalized recommendations and a shared online planning document to guide the next steps.

Additional consultation sessions are available to provide continued support throughout the decision-making and application process. Phone and virtual appointments are offered for added convenience, and sliding-scale pricing is available upon request to help make services accessible to more families.

Parent Seminars & Professional Development Workshops

Engaging, informative, and practical, our customized seminars and professional development workshops equip parents, educators, and school teams with the knowledge and strategies they need to support diverse learners. Each presentation is tailored to the unique needs and goals of your audience, providing evidence-based practices and actionable takeaways that can be implemented immediately.

Topics may include dyslexia, structured literacy, the science of reading, IEPs and special education, executive functioning, accommodations, postsecondary transition planning, and supporting students with learning differences.

Every workshop includes a pre-presentation consultation to identify your objectives, a 1–2 hour interactive seminar or training, audience feedback to evaluate outcomes, and follow-up communication or resources to ensure continued learning and support.
